The Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan, represented by its President, Ms. Lamia Moubayed Bissat, and Procurement Specialist, Ms. Rana Rizkallah, took part at Meeting of the OCED-MENA Network of Public Procurement Experts in Tunis on January 21-22, 2020.
It was an occasion to learn more on international good practices namely in the role of public procurement in boosting economic opportunities, meeting policy objectives, as well as professionalization and the use of ICT for data-driven policy and decision making.
The Institute exposed the Lebanese Ministry of Finance road map to public procurement reform, and exchanged on reform approach and components with representatives of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia, and partner organizations present at the meeting.
