The Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan is taking part to a virtual learning event, organized by the World Bank, to share experiences and lessons learned from the assessment of procurement systems in Lebanon and Djibouti using the international recognized Methodology for Assessing Procurement Systems (MAPS-II).

Both countries have demonstrated commitment to continuing to strengthen their public procurement through the design of roadmaps and action plans to take the results from the assessment into an actionable way forward. In this event, Lebanon and Djibouti representatives will discuss lessons learned and next steps to continue strengthening and modernizing their public procurement systems.

Lebanon completed MAPS Assessment in 2020, with the support of the World Bank and the Agence Francaise de Developpment through the Global Procurement Partnership.
