The Citizen Budget 2020 is a simplified version of the budget law or budget proposal. It raises awareness on the country’s fiscal situation and enables citizens to compare public expenditures and revenues, deficit estimates, debt figures and other legal provisions that might affect their lives. It is designed to facilitate access to fiscal information which is considered as a fundamental constitutional right.
